Program Description

The English Language Learners (ELL) Program provides leadership, support, and consultation to school districts serving culturally and linguistically diverse student populations. 

The program:

• Supports collaboration with school districts to develop ELL plans in compliance with State and Federal guidelines.
• Provides support services for successful implementation of Migrant and ELL programs.
• Facilitates ELL staff development programs that are consistent with district needs.
• Establishes a link to the Oregon Department of Education.
